Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to oversee the implementation of our EMR software at new clinic sites. You will guide clinics through the entire implementation process (needs assessment, system configuration, data migration, user training, and ongoing support), working closely with staff to ensure a seamless transition and efficient utilization of our software. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coupled with strong interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with healthcare providers and clinic managers enabling them to understand unique clinic needs and facilitate seamless EMR system adoption.

This position is primarily remote, based in the Greater Vancouver area, with a combination of home and on-site clinic visits within BC. Flexible work hours fall between 8 AM and 6 PM (MST), Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

Manage the end-to-end implementation of Ava’s EMR software with clinics across BC, ensuring on-scope, timely delivery of tasks, schedules, and milestones.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinic managers to understand their needs and demonstrate empathy to address any concerns.
  • Customize clinic profiles within the EMR, adapting to the requirements of each clinic.
  • Deliver comprehensive training on Ava’s EMR functionality to clinic staff, both remotely and on-site, ensuring smooth transitions through effective change readiness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders through effective collaboration and regular communication.
  • Proactively manage expectations, provide progress updates, and skillfully navigate conflict resolution when needed.
  • Plan, develop, and refine project management processes for efficiency and effectiveness, adjusting to fast-paced changes while maintaining adaptability.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in running projects, healthcare experience is an asset.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working independently while setting priorities and managing time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in complex situations.
  • Self-starter, adjusting quickly to new software and processes.
  • Aptitude for working in a dynamic environment with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with Project Management software tools i.e. ClickUp
  • Proficient in productivity software e.g. Google Suite, Slack.
  • Previous training experience either remotely or in a classroom setting, is an asset.
  • Healthcare industry and EMR system experience is a plus.
  • Must reside in British Columbia.
