Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert medication management, patient care, and support within a dynamic healthcare environment. Your expertise will ensure safe and effective medication use, contribute to positive patient outcomes, and uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while balancing your personal commitments.

Duties

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards
  • Provide expert advice to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans
  • Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed in accordance with medical guidelines
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise pharmacy records, including medication logs and patient profiles
  • Educate patients on medication administration techniques, especially in pediatrics or acute care settings
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of pharmaceuticals in accordance with regulatory requirements

Experience

  • Strong background in pediatric pharmacy and patient-centered care approaches
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy practice and healthcare settings
  • Hands-on experience with medication administration protocols across various clinical scenarios
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems(WinRx) and record-keeping procedures
  • Farsi Speaking Ability is a Priority
