Overview

Azure Medical group is a fast-paced, patient-focused medical clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to our community. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized, and professional Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks necessary to run the clinic efficiently, including:

Patient Interaction & Scheduling

  • Greet and check-in patients in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, triage calls, and take detailed messages.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Manage patient flow and coordinate with clinical staff to minimize wait times.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing patient correspondence.

Administrative & Financial

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and process co-pays/payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering strictly to HIPAA/PIPEDA regulations.
  • Manage incoming faxes, scan documents, and file charts electronically.
  • Process referrals and prior authorizations as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office, hospital, or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and medical scheduling software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule:Monday to Friday some weekends as needed
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Benefits: Employee benefits are given after six months employment.
