Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and welcoming Front Dental Receptionist to join our team.

Position: Full-time Front Dental Receptionist
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in a dental setting ideally with some Dental Assisting background.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Have a sound understanding of Dental Insurance, CDCP and MCP.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
  • Process patient information and verify insurance details to ensure proper billing procedures.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appointment reminders, and follow-up care.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office is preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in phone systems and office management practices.
  • Familiarity with Dental Patient Management systems ideally with Dentrix;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is an advantage.
