What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians with patient care
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Take and process diagnostic radiographs
• Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostic testing
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
• Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
• Safely handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
• Educate clients on medications, home care, nutrition, and preventative health
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Assist with reception duties, including answering phones, booking appointments, and providing excellent customer service when needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital (2+ years preferred)
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills
• Experience with laboratory procedures, radiography, and patient care is an asset
• Friendly, compassionate, and professional with clients and coworkers
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs
• Fluent in English
