Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our massage therapy clinic. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires strong administrative skills, familiarity with medical and dental office procedures, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Prior experience with electronic medical records and office management systems is highly valued.

Duties

  • Greet clients warmly and check them in for appointments, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure

  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records
  • Verify insurance information and process billing or payments as needed
  • Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, appointment scheduling, and managing patient files
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
  • Coordinate with massage therapists and other staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and other communication efficiently

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred, especially with front desk or administrative roles
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in office equipment including multi-line phone systems, computers, and office software
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in medical office administration is a plus

This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to client well-being. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service while supporting the daily functions of our massage therapy clinic. Shifts will include some daytimes, some weekends and some evenings. Light cleaning will be required

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
