Full job description

We are hiring a part-time Medical Assistant to start immediately in our community-based allergy clinic in Oakville.

Position Snapshot

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Schedule: 3–4 weekdays per week, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Compensation: $19–$23/hour, commensurate with experience
  • Vacation: 4% vacation pay, paid each pay period

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments and provide phone and front-desk support
  • Conduct allergy histories and provide basic patient education
  • Administer allergy skin testing under physician supervision (training provided)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation EMR
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and clinic policies at all times

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Completion of post-secondary studies (diploma, certificate, or equivalent).
  • Clinical or office experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Accuro EMR is an asset
  • Professional references required.
