Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist/Manager to join our vibrant dental practice.   • Handle patient inquiries, insurance verifications, and billing processes with clarity and accuracy
  • Supervise front desk staff, providing training and support to maintain high standards of service
  • Oversee administrative tasks including electronic medical records management, patient documentation, and data entry
  • Coordinate with dental team members to ensure smooth daily operations and patient flow
  • Monitor office supplies, equipment maintenance, and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Assist in human resources functions such as onboarding new staff, scheduling shifts, and addressing staff concerns
  • Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and optimizing operational costs
  • Maintain professionalism in handling sensitive medical information using knowledge of medical terminology and confidentiality protocols
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a dental office environment, with familiarity using Abeldent practice management software
  • Strong background in human resources practices, including supervising staff and managing team dynamics
  • Prior experience managing electronic medical records (EMRs) and understanding of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of dental office procedures, billing, insurance processing, and patient scheduling
  • Experience in budgeting, inventory management, or financial oversight within a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Hospital or nursing experience with acute care exposure is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills—able to explain procedures clearly and handle patient concerns professionally
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with supervising experience that fosters teamwork and efficiency
