Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office procedures, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems. The Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
  • Collect payments and process billing transactions efficiently
  • Maintain organized front desk area and ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes while maintaining confidentiality of medical information
  • Support the dental team with administrative duties as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Dental Receptionist
  • Experience handling electronic medical records (EMRs) and managing front desk operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong office experience including administrative tasks, multi-line phone systems, and customer service skills
  • Previous experience working with insurance verification and billing processes is advantageousThis position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team in a professional environment focused on patient care excellence.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
