Summary

We are currently seeking to hire a full -time Dental Receptionist whose experience can contribute to our needs. You will be working in our practice alongside a small team focused on the same goals. You will be responsible for the patient experience and ensuring the relationship is built on trust. A minimum of 2 years of experience at a dental office in Canada is mandatory and the candidate should have experience in dental office software such as ClearDent. Experience in ClearDent software will be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records using electronic medical record systems.
  • Handle phone inquiries and provide information about services offered.
  • Assist with billing and insurance verification processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar front desk role.
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is essential.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records systems; experience with Dentrix is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with patients effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
