Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing exceptional front desk support, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic medical records, and medical terminology. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
  • Verify patient information and update electronic medical records
  • Prepare and organize patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling for multiple providers within the practice
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
  • Maintaining a clean front desk area

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Office Assistant preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
