Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and accurately document findings.
  • Provide a professional, compassionate, and reassuring experience for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
  • Ensure equipment is used safely and appropriately and report any concerns as required.
  • Follow all applicable professional, regulatory, and workplace standards.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Registered Sonographer with Sonography Canada/ CMRIPS
  • Current professional registration and liability insurance, as applicable.
  • Experience performing general, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound examinations. MSK training is an advantage.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
