Medical Radiation Technologist (X-Ray) (Part-Time)

Location: Woodbridge, ON
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Job Type: Part-Time

About Us

We are seeking a professional and patient-focused Medical Radiation Technologist (X-Ray) to join our healthcare team in Woodbridge, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MRT seeking flexible, part-time hours in a welcoming clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician requisitions and clinic protocols.
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging and accurate patient documentation.
  • Prepare and educate patients regarding X-ray procedures.
  • Maintain patient comfort, safety, privacy, and confidentiality throughout examinations.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and best practices to protect patients, staff, and the public.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain X-ray equipment and examination rooms, ensuring compliance with quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program.
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is preferred.
  • Appropriate licensing and credentials to practice in Ontario.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Previous clinical experience in diagnostic radiography is preferred.
