About Canaray

Our team specializes in Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), panoramic imaging, and cephalometric radiography. We work closely with dental professionals throughout Ontario to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care through high-quality imaging and expert interpretation.

We are seeking Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) to join our growing team. Opportunities are available at multiple clinic locations, and applicants are encouraged to indicate which locations they are available to work at. The successful candidate enjoys working independently, delivering excellent patient experiences, and embracing new technology in a specialized imaging environment.

Current opportunities are available in:
  • Downtown Toronto
  • Vaughan
  • Mississauga
  • Oakville

  • Cambridge

What You'll Do
  • Acquire high-quality CBCT scans, panoramic radiographs, and cephalometric images
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and radiation protection standards are maintained at all times
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain examinations clearly and professionally
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and identify when repeat imaging is required
  • Open and review DICOM data to verify image quality and completeness
  • Support radiologists and clinical teams by ensuring imaging studies are accurately prepared for interpretation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and referring offices
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting related to imaging studies and DICOM files
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and workflow improvements
  • Collaborate with fellow MRTs, radiologists, and operations leadership
  • Maintain compliance with privacy legislation, professional standards, and company policies

What You Bring

  • Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology or equivalent accredited training
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and image quality standards
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies and workflows

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in dental radiography, oral radiology, or diagnostic imaging
  • Experience working with CBCT imaging systems
  • Experience reviewing and manipulating 3D imaging datasets
  • Familiarity with DICOM software and image management systems

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation starting at $45.00 per hour
  • Employer-paid health and dental benefits
  • Life insurance and employee assistance program
  • Company events and team activities
  • Opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and specialized radiologists
  • Supportive team environment focused on learning and professional growth

Why MRTs Choose Canaray
  • Work with advanced CBCT, panoramic, and cephalometric imaging technology every day

  • No overnight shifts
  • Variety in your workday through exposure to multiple clinic locations and patient populations
  • Collaborate with oral and maxillofacial radiologists and gain unique specialty experience
  • Employer-paid health and dental benefits
  • Opportunity to work independently while still being supported by an experienced team
  • Stable, growing organization with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and develop professionally
  • Patient-focused environment where image quality and clinical excellence are prioritized over production quotas
