Our team of expert physicians collaborates across multiple specialties to deliver advanced diagnostic and treatment solutions for professional athletes, performing artists, and individuals seeking comprehensive, cutting-edge healthcare.
Role Overview:
The Medical Radiation Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality radiologic imaging to support physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. As a key member of our Hamilton, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with physicians and other professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate, high-quality radiologic exams following protocols and requisitions.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety while applying clinical judgment for optimal imaging.
- Provide compassionate care focused on pain management and functional outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations (e.g., HIA).
- Support innovative clinic initiatives and assist with projects as needed.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with patients and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Radiation Technologist from an accredited program.
- Active registration with ACMDTT/CMRITO and CAMRT membership.
- Previous radiologic imaging experience preferred.
- Strong technical proficiency and attention to detail in diagnostic imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to assist patients entering or exiting the clinic with mobility challenges.
