Job Title: Medical Radiation Technologist

Location: Calgary, AB

Job Types: Full time and part time

Position Overview:

We are currently accepting applications for a full time permanent and/or part-time Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) for our Calgary (various south locations) and Okotoks clinics. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who value the benefits of working in a team-based environment who are eager to expand their skills and go above and beyond for our patients.

We also are looking for someone with mamography experience or willing to train long term in addition to x-ray duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Performs a variety of standardized and complex X-Ray examinations, with precision and care.

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging examinations.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results.

- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality standards.

- Assist in the training of junior staff members in radiology techniques.

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist from an accredited program recognized by ACMDTT and CAMRT is required

- Active member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)

- Active member of the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT)

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Willingness to learn and train.

Licence/Certification:

- ACMDTT Certification (preferred)

- MRT Diploma (required)
