Position Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating programs and initiatives that support the College's regulatory mandate and strategic priorities. The position works closely with College leadership, staff, physicians, committees, and external stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered effectively and within established timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate College programs and initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor program goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate projects and ensure activities are completed within established timeframes.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports, recommendations, and program updates for the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Council and committees.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, programs, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all activities align with the College's mandate, policies, and applicable legislation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities consistent with the position and operational requirements of the College.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, health administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in program management, project management, healthcare administration, regulation, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or regulatory environment is considered an asset.

Working Relationships

The Program Manager will work closely under the:

· Registrar, and

· Deputy Registrar

The Program Manager will work closely with:

· College staff

· Council and Committees

· Physicians and other regulated professionals, where applicable

· Government Departments and agencies

· Other Canadian medical regulatory authorities

· Professional and healthcare organizations

· External consultations and service providers

· Members of the public, where appropriate

The position is primarily office-based and may involve attendance at meetings outside normal working hours, including occasional evening meetings of Council or committees. The role requires the ability to manage periods of high workload, competing priorities, urgent matters, changing deadlines while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality and quality of work.

The Program Manager is expected to maintain confidentiality and perform all duties in accordance with the College's regulatory mandate, policies, and applicable legislation.

Pay: $115,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
