JOB TITLE:

Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist

REPORTS TO:

Commercial Marketing Director

DEPARTMENT:

Vernacare Canada Inc. (Vernacare Americas)

Role Overview

The Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experience across North America (Canada and USA) and Latin America, supporting Vernacare’s Surgical, Infection Prevention and Equine Health portfolios. The role combines proactive inside sales, channel partner engagement to strengthen loyalty and expand market penetration across the region.

Principal Accountabilities:

Proactive Customer Support & Sales Engagement (50%)

· Manage a diverse portfolio of customers with defined annual revenue targets, focusing on retention, growth and share of wallet.

· Build loyalty via regular outreach, issue resolution, and personalized solutions for healthcare providers and distributors.

· Introduce new products & services to maximize revenue/customer

· Identify new prospects to introduce Vernacare’s product range Prospect and onboard new clients to expand Vernacare’s footprint

· Maintain a structured cadence of follow-ups, quotes and opportunity management using the CRM system.

· Participate in local & national exhibitions, sales meetings as required

Canadian Field Sales Support (25%)

· Support field based Regional Sales Leaders through targeted customer engagement calls to maintain healthy clinical end user relationships and share actionable intelligence .

· Showcase key products as appropriate.

· Conduct preliminary call research on prospective new targets.

· Respond to inbound calls from customers & channel partners on behalf of Regional Sales Leaders.

Customer Support – USA & LATAM (25%)

· Respond to inbound calls & web inquiries from customers & channel partners across our Surgical, Infection Prevention & Equine Health portfolios.

· Support Commercial Marketing initiatives to expand sales, grow brand visibility and expand channel partner network.

· Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities by introducing relevant new products where viable.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in a customer facing B2B sales role, preferably in a medical, dental or industrial setting
  • A demonstrated record of success in meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent telephone selling skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills are essential.
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, CRM) are essential.
  • Ability to work self-directed, but equally as part of a wider team.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed
  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish would be considered a strong asset
