Job Overview:

Our dynamic and busy Oral Surgery practice is looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service and is looking to build a career in a professional healthcare environment.

This role will begin with core reception responsibilities only. As you become confident in the role and demonstrate accuracy, reliability, and initiative, there will be opportunities to learn additional administrative responsibilities and grow within the practice.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Check patients in for appointments.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic information.
  • Collect payments and issue receipts.
  • Scan and upload documents into patient charts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, team members and referring offices.
  • Perform other basic administrative duties as assigned.
