PRACTICE MANAGER

About MAP

MAP is a fast-growing healthcare management organization supporting medical, dental, and allied health practices across primarily in Southwestern Ontario. Our mission is to Transform Tomorrow’s Healthcare Today by strengthening the operational, clinical, and leadership foundations that allow healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

We partner with providers and practice teams to improve how care is organized, delivered, and experienced. Our work focuses on building high-performing teams, designing efficient workflows, improving access and patient flow, strengthening accountability, and creating sustainable systems that support both providers and patients.

We are seeking a Practice Manager who wants to be part of something bigger than traditional practice management. This role is ideal for a confident healthcare operations leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, coaching teams, and creating meaningful change in a clinical environment.

As the Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the practice while working closely with providers, staff, and leadership to improve workflows, strengthen team performance, and support the efficient, patient-centred delivery of care.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead daily clinical and administrative operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and patient-centred experience for patients, providers, and team members.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, clinical staff, and administrative staff, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve clinic workflows, standard operating procedures, and team processes to support efficient care delivery.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement practical solutions that improve clinic flow, provider efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Monitor key operational trends, performance indicators, staffing needs, and workflow challenges to proactively address issues and support informed decision-making.
  • Lead change management initiatives by engaging staff and providers, communicating expectations clearly, and supporting adoption of new processes, technologies, and standards.
  • Strengthen relationships with providers, hospitals, community partners, and internal stakeholders to support coordinated patient care and practice growth.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll coordination, onboarding, training, and compliance-related processes to ensure operations remain organized and aligned with standards.
  • Support a culture of professionalism, accountability, continuous improvement, and patient-centered care across the practice.
  • Partner with leadership on operational planning, service expansion, workforce development, and initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Skills and Abilities

  • Confident leader who can motivate, support, and guide teams in a busy healthcare environment.
  • Strong communicator who builds positive relationships with providers, staff, patients, and community partners.
  • Organized and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance daily priorities while improving clinic workflows.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital tools to support scheduling, reporting, communication, and operational planning.
  • Experience with electronic medical records, such as PatientVu, Accuro, ClearDent, PS Suites, or the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 5 years of work experience working in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Experience in team management and/or education in business administration is required.
  • Affiliation with a healthcare professional association or regulatory college is considered an asset, including nursing, dental hygiene, or other allied health disciplines.

Thank you to all applicants for their interest, however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. If contacted for an interview, please inform us should an accommodation be required.

We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment.
