This position requires you to currently live in or near the Cowichan Valley — Duncan, Mill Bay, Shawnigan Lake, Cobble Hill, Chemainus, or nearby communities. We are not able to accommodate relocation or long-distance commutes. If you do not currently live in this area, please do not apply.

Hearing Care Clinic has been a trusted part of the Vancouver Island community since 1985. As a second-generation, family-owned audiology practice, we proudly serve patients across four locations — Victoria, Duncan, Mill Bay, and Chemainus. Our team is close-knit, our patients are like family, and our work makes a real difference in people's lives every single day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Greet and welcome patients warmly at the front desk Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic calendar Handle patient check-in and check-out Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow Process payments and handle basic billing inquiries Keep the reception area tidy, welcoming, and organized

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

✅ Currently living in the Cowichan Valley — this is non-negotiable ✅ 2+ years of customer-facing experience in reception, healthcare, retail, or hospitality (required, not preferred) ✅ Warm, patient communication style — our patients are primarily 60+ and deserve exceptional care ✅ Ability to multitask confidently in a busy clinical setting ✅ Comfortable with scheduling software and basic computer tasks

Bonus points for: Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting Experience working with seniors or elderly patients Familiarity with hearing healthcare or audiology

WHAT WE OFFER
