You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, coordinating patient care activities, and maintaining efficient clinical workflows.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with electronic medical records (EMR), a solid understanding of medical terminology, and strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and team members. A high level of professionalism, accuracy, and accountability is essential in this position.

  • Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
  • Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of patient charts and documentation prior to appointments.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely patient care and follow-up.
  • Process insurance information and verify patient eligibility for services.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Utilize software systems for scheduling and record management.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the office.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role will be considered an asset and will help your application stand out.
  • Familiarity with medical/cardiology receptionist duties is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records software is essential.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is required to assist with patient interactions effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Additional Opportunity
Candidates who demonstrate dedication, quick learning, and attention to detail may be eligible for free training to become a Certified ECG Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
