As a Patient care Coordinator you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and seamless patient experience. You will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, addressing inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. If you are an organized and personable individual who enjoys helping others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients regarding appointments, billing, and general information.
  • Collect and process patient information, including medical history and demographics.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Collect payments, post payments and AR responsibilities
  • Ensure waiting areas and reception areas are clean and organized.
  • Assist in managing patient flow and minimizing wait times.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare or dental team to address patient needs and concerns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient issues or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or healthcare-related training preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or patient coordination role is a plus.
  • Dental experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
