Job Overview

As the first point of contact for patients and referring healthcare providers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service while supporting the administrative and billing functions of our diagnostic imaging clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and provide excellent customer service
  • Schedule appointments and manage clinic bookings
  • Process patient registrations and maintain accurate records
  • Perform Saskatchewan healthcare billing and claims submissions
  • Verify patient health information and insurance coverage
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and referral inquiries
  • Coordinate with physicians, sonographers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation
  • Support general office administration and clinic operations

Qualifications

  • Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent experience
  • Previous Saskatchewan healthcare billing experience is required
  • Experience in a diagnostic imaging, radiology, or medical clinic setting is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a busy healthcare environment

Work schedule:

Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch break)
