Full job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Dental Receptionist/ Treatment Coordinator to join our friendly and experienced team of dental professionals. As a Dental Receptionist/ Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting.

Your main duties will include:

-Treatment and financial reviews with patients for comprehensive dental care

-Optimizing the appointment schedule and outstanding treatment management

-Managing the Hygiene Continuing Care/ Recare Program

-Managing patient dental insurance pre-determinations, processing and follow-up

- Greeting and checking in patients
- Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar
- Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries
- Verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims
- Collecting payments and maintaining financial records
- Maintaining accurate patient digital records
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing and scanning documents

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Previous experience (minimum 2 years) as a Dental Receptionist/ Treatment Coordinator or in a similar role within a dental office setting
- Proficiency in Tracker dental software system an asset
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems
- Strong organizational and administrative skills

-Self motivated to learn and grow professionally
