Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team! In this essential role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, managing patient interactions from the moment they walk through the door to their treatment planning and scheduling. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure a positive first impression of the practice
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages promptly
  • Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately using dental practice management software "Tracker"
  • Assist with treatment coordination by explaining procedures, financial options, and next steps clearly to patients
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and update patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily patient flow
  • Handle administrative duties including filing, correspondence, and managing office supplies to keep the front desk organized and efficient

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Tracker
  • Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and front desk operations with excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with dental practice management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while providing exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
