If you are interested in working with a growing team of excellent eye care professionals in a fast pace environment, this position may be perfect for you. We are looking for an energetic, positive, professional person to join our team!

We are an established optometry practice with over 45 years in the local community. Our full service clinic has diagnostics, optical, medical contact lens expertise, ocular disease management, as well as dry eye speciality treatments and services.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Comes to work with a positive professional attitude.
  • Can provide excellent customer service to our patients.
  • Will process patient needs efficiently and accurately.
  • And has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reception duties: Scheduling appointments for all of our doctors, confirming patient eligibility, answering and directing calls
  • Preliminary screening tests
  • Potential to learn diagnostic imaging using our state-of-the-art equipment
  • Ophthalmology/specialist referrals – scan, upload, track
  • Bill 3rd party, and or insurance companies for payments
  • Daily record keeping
  • Financial Duties; A/R, Cash, Debit, Credit Payments
  • OHIP submissions and reconciliation

Other duties as required

Pay: $22.09-$26.00 per hour
