Overview

We are looking for a welcoming, organized, and motivated Dental Receptionist / Administrator to join our growing dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating positive patient experiences and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and confident in managing schedules, patient communication, insurance coordination, and front desk operations. Experience in a dental office is required, along with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression
  • Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently using dental software such as Abeldent
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage daily communication
  • Process insurance claims, payments, and treatment estimates
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, recalls, and follow-up appointments
  • Support the daily flow of the practice through appointment coordination, patient communication, and digital chart management
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Maintain an organized and professional front desk environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous dental reception or dental administration experience required
  • Experience with Abeldent is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
