Mill Creek Health is a busy family medicine clinic in Cambridge, ON looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist/MOA to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional patient care.

The hours for this full-time MOA position are as follows:
Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
**Note that hours my change slightly depending on weekly scheduling demands

Work experience required:

  • Experience as a Medical Receptionist/MOA in a family medicine office or similar medical setting
  • Medical Receptionist or MOA diploma/certificate is necessary
  • PS Suite EMR experience would be an asset
  • Microsoft Office experience would be an asset

Responsibilities will include:

  • Answer, screen, and manage calls on multi-line phone system
  • Greet, register, and triage patients
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone and email
  • Obtain, review, and update patient information
  • Communicate with hospitals, specialist offices, pharmacies, labs/imaging, insurance/legal companies, etc.
  • Document processing, including faxing, mailing, scanning, and data entry
  • Obtaining patient vitals, basic history taking, exam room prep & clean-up
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment
  • Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality in all patient-related interactions
