Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team! Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, establishing a positive first impression for everyone entering the office
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and direct calls efficiently
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and dental records using platforms like Medaccess
  • Verify patient insurance information and process billing or payments as needed
  • Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and coordinate patient flow to optimize office productivity
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
  • Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, updating medical histories, and handling documentation with attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Medaccess
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical notes and documentation
  • Experience as a dental receptionist or in dental office administration is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members
