Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong administrative skills. This position offers the opportunity to be an essential part of our front desk operations, ensuring efficient patient care delivery.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately

- Ability to work in a group setting as well as individually

-Ability to communicate effectively
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing tasks
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the office staff

-Various duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using Telus PSS or similar electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate phone systems efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
