Full job description

About King Ritson Dental

King Ritson Dental has grown from a single-owner practice into a large, thriving office. While we’ve expanded over time, we’ve stayed grounded in our values and continue to foster a supportive, close-knit environment. Due to our size and pace— we work hard to maintain a small-office feel where teamwork and support come first.

If you enjoy a fast-paced environment with a bit of hustle and bustle, you’ll fit right in. We’re a team that says “yes,” embraces challenges, and works together to exceed expectations. Our goal is simple: make every day at work enjoyable and meaningful.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive to join our team in an accounts receivable-focused role. This position is ideal for someone who can think on their feet, stay organized under pressure, and quickly regain focus after interruptions.

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Takes things in stride and remains calm in a busy environment
  • Listens carefully before responding
  • Steps in to support teammates whenever needed
  • Is naturally curious and enjoys problem-solving
  • Can connect the dots between payment issues and solutions
  • Adapts easily to change and shifting priorities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain an assigned portfolio of accounts receivable
  • Monitor aged debt and take appropriate action to ensure timely collections
  • Accurately enter and reconcile payments
  • Follow up on outstanding balances, missing fees, and insurance discrepancies
  • Forecast insurance coverage using available information
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve billing concerns professionally
  • Prepare reports and analysis to track performance and identify opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal team members to improve billing and collection processes
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all collection activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and accountability for your work
  • Ability to multitask and quickly refocus after interruptions
  • A team player who is considerate and supportive of coworkers
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to “dive in” and help wherever needed
  • Commitment to maintaining accounts under 3% and supporting overall financial performance
  • A strong work ethic and a positive, solution-oriented attitude

If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy being part of a team that supports one another while tackling challenges head-on, we’d love to hear from you.
