National Nutrition is looking for an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team in Barrie.

This role will focus primarily on accounts payable using QuickBooks, along with personnel-related tasks, office administration, and the supervision of a junior administrative assistant. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a busy office environment, handling confidential information, supporting staff, and ensuring daily office operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable functions using QuickBooks
  • Enter, review, and process vendor invoices
  • Reconcile statements and follow up on billing discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
  • Assist with personnel-related tasks, including employee files, onboarding paperwork, and general HR administration
  • Support payroll-related documentation and internal recordkeeping
  • Supervise and support a junior administrative assistant
  • Delegate administrative tasks and help ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide guidance, training, and feedback to administrative support staff
  • Communicate with vendors, staff, and management as needed
  • Organize office procedures and help ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and personnel information
  • Assist with other administrative duties as required

Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks is required
  • Previous accounts payable or bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Office administration or office management experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and general computer systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
