Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional front desk support, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth office operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are highly valued. Prior experience with dental is needed.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow using multi-line phone systems
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
  • Handle patient inquiries, reschedule appointments, and provide general office assistance
  • Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Assist with billing procedures and processing payments
  • Coordinate communication between patients, dental staff, and insurance providers
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and supply management

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
