Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! In this essential role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, managing patient interactions both in person and over the phone with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your primary focus will be ensuring a smooth patient experience from scheduling appointments to handling administrative tasks, all while maintaining a warm and efficient front desk environment. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a friendly atmosphere at the front desk
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Tracker
  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently and providing excellent customer service
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance information and updating electronic medical records accurately
  • Handle billing, payments, and insurance claims with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Maintain organized patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and documentation standards
  • Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, collecting medical history forms, and managing correspondence

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar dental office administrative role
  • Strong knowledge of dental office procedures, including appointment scheduling and insurance processing
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Tracker
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dental care
  • Experience working with multi-line phone systems and office equipment in a fast-paced environment
