Full job description

The Treatment Co-ordinator is responsible for scheduling appointments for our patients needed both for in house and all outgoing referrals to other specialists. Offers full support to our patients, including report writing, corresponding with insurance companies and other dental offices. Works closely with our Doctors to ensure continuity throughout the office for each and every case.

Some common responsibilities would be as follows:

  • Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where patients feel welcome
  • Day to day operations of the office, answering the phone, checking and responding to messages & scheduling appointments.
  • Appointment reminders
  • Assisting with treatment estimates
  • Checking emails and keeping track of lab cases
  • Referral tracking
  • Document scanning
  • Billing & Payment processing
  • Sending and filing dictated reports & send to referring dentists
  • Day End Reports
  • Payment Planning for Patients
