Overview
Are you an experienced dental receptionist who's ready to take the next step in your career?

Downtown Dental is looking for a confident, organized, and proactive leader to join our team as our Hygiene & Invisalign Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading others, and is passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience.

As the Hygiene & Invisalign Coordinator, you'll oversee the daily operations of our front office while working closely with our clinical team to ensure our patients receive seamless care from start to finish. You'll be a leader, mentor, and problem solver—keeping our schedules full, our workflows efficient, and our team working together.

Patient Care Coordination

  • Support the reception team during busy periods by assisting with phones, scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and general front desk responsibilities.

Hygiene Coordination

  • Take ownership of the hygiene schedule to maximize productivity.
  • Reactivate overdue patients and maintain a healthy continuing care program.
  • Fill cancellations and short-notice openings.
  • Monitor recall systems and support practice growth through patient reactivation.

Clinical Operations

  • Support the daily clinical workflow by coordinating communication between reception and the clinical team.
  • Anticipate scheduling challenges and adjust as needed to keep the day running smoothly.

Invisalign Coordination

  • Coordinate Invisalign cases from consultation through treatment completion.
  • Schedule appointments, monitor progress, and ensure patients stay engaged throughout treatment.
  • Ensure every patient receives outstanding service and a positive experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Dental office experience is required.
  • Previous dental reception experience is strongly preferred.
  • Leadership experience or a natural ability to lead, coach, and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A positive, solution-focused attitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Someone who takes initiative, embraces accountability, and enjoys helping others succeed.
