Full job description

We’re looking for a confident, organized, and welcoming front desk lead to be the first point of contact in our busy, multicultural dental office. You’ll greet every patient with warmth, manage the daily flow of appointments, and make sure each visit starts and ends smoothly.

This role is perfect for someone who can balance professionalism with friendliness, handle a fast-paced environment, and keep the schedule running on time — all while making every patient feel valued and understood.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the front desk: phones, scheduling patients, patient check-in/out, handling payments, Pre-D submission, insurance claim
  • Keep the day running on time by anticipating and resolving scheduling conflicts
  • Coordinate patient handoffs with our Patient Care Coordinator for treatment discussions
  • Maintain accurate records in our dental software (ABELDent experience is a must)
  • Ensure the reception area is organized, welcoming, and efficient

What We’re Looking For

  • Applicants should have conversational English proficiency to communicate effectively in the office.
  • Previous dental reception experience is required
  • Experience dealing with insurances (claims, Pre-Ds, and EOBs)
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication — in person, on the phone, and by email
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team
  • Language skills in Pashto, Dari, Farsi, Turkish, Arabic or Chinese are an asset
  • Availability for Saturdays is preferred
