Full job description

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to support our day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This part-time, in-person role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge who can work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Maintain and reconcile multiple accounts
  • Process payroll and payroll-related filings
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare, file, and remit taxes
  • Manage employee health insurance administration
  • Assist with year-end closing
  • Coordinate courier shipments, including picking and packing
  • Purchase office and plant supplies
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience
  • High proficiency with QuickBooks Online
  • Strong accounting and financial knowledge
  • Experience working with Canadian government agencies and compliance requirements
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable on your feet, working in both an office and shop environment

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Expect 20-25 hours per week, flexible

Pay: $30.00 per hour
