The Sage Creek Medical Center is looking for a dynamic, caring, friendly, hard working, and reliable candidates.

Job requirements:

  • experience in medical office administration 5 years
  • Previous managerial experience in running medical clinic
  • reliable and Willing to take initiative
  • proficiency with medical terminology
  • High attention to details
  • Professional
  • Live near the clinic
  • Able to work evening ,weekends shifts and as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Great time management and ability to multi-task
  • proficiency in Experience with computer and computer applications including Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • experience in Accuro EMR at least 3 years
  • Experience in Manitoba Health Billing
  • PHIA (Personal Health Information Act) certification
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be flexible

In this role you will:

  • Greet and assist patients in person and on the phone
  • Register patients for clinical appointments
  • Respond to patient inquiries and messages (telephone, email, fax, etc.)
  • Update and maintain EMR with all test results, clinical documents and demographic information
  • Assist/Chaperon physicians with patient exams & procedures and complete patient-related tasks at the request of the physicians
  • Ensure all exam rooms are clean after each patient and adequately restocked supplies
  • Maintenance of medical inventory through supply and equipment ordering and inventory responsibility
  • Make sure the waiting room and exam rooms are clean
  • Process uninsured services billings and private pay transactions
  • Participate in other miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned
