Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical practice. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent organizational skills, we would love to hear from you.

Position Details

  • Hours: To be discussed during the interview.
  • Wage: Competitive and based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls.
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
  • Registering patients and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
  • Processing referrals, faxes, and other administrative duties.
  • Communicating effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous medical reception or medical office experience is preferred.
  • Experience using OSCAR Pro electronic medical records is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with clear and professional telephone etiquette.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations.

Availability

  • Immediate availability is preferred.
