Full job description

Canada Clinics in Niagara Falls is hiring a reliable, organized Medical Office Assistant (MOA) or RPN to support our busy clinic operations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow and providing excellent administrative support to patients and healthcare professionals. International Medical Graduates (IMGs) are welcome to apply.

Important: We are only considering applicants with significant medical office administration experience and strong working knowledge of Accuro and/or CHR EMR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and support check-in/check-out
  • Manage phone lines: answer calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and keep patient information up to date
  • Handle administrative workflows including incoming/outgoing referrals, forms, scanning/faxing, and correspondence
  • Use Accuro and CHR for scheduling and patient management
  • Apply medical terminology appropriately to support clear communication within the clinic
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Maintain compliance with health regulations and keep the clinic organized and professional

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a Canadian medical office setting (preferred/strongly considered)
  • Accuro and/or CHR experience (required)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first approach
  • Comfortable with phone systems and front desk operations

Assets (Nice to Have)

  • Phlebotomy certification/license is a strong asset
  • Experience in family medicine / primary care settings
