Medical Office Assistant with Ophthalmology Experience (North Burnaby)

Job Qualifications (MOA):
Experience in Ophthalmology office ASSET
Extremely organized, strong communication skills, experience with Accuro
Experience as an Ophthalmic technician ASSET

Duties:
Answering/triaging phone calls.
Triage, manage, and file incoming faxes
File electronic scans
Scheduling patient appointments

Referral triage & booking

Visual field testing, Intraocular pressure testing (IOP)
Assisting other staff and physicians when required

Our ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
Can work well under pressure while maintaining calm and professional demeanor
Able to multitask efficiently and perform a variety of tasks in a timely manner
Able to problem solve independently
Excellent computer skills and experience with scheduling software
Experience working in an Ophthalmologist's office
