Job Overview

We casting our line to catch a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant Level II to join our growing dental practice! This role combines clinical support with some front-office responsibilities, ensuring a seamless patient experience and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and dental assisting expertise. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a professional dental environment committed to patient care excellence.

Duties

  • Assist the dental team during procedures by preparing instruments, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring clinical supplies are stocked
  • Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk, including scheduling appointments, confirming patient visits, and handling patient check-in/check-out procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abeldent
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, post-operative care, and insurance processes
  • Manage billing, insurance claims, and payment processing efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by adhering to sterilization protocols and infection control standards
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to facilitate smooth workflow throughout the day

Skills

  • Level II dental assisting
  • Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Abeldent for scheduling, record keeping, and billing
  • Experience in dental assisting, including knowledge of sterilization techniques, dental procedures
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
