Full job description

Herzig Eye Institute is a centre of excellence in the field of laser vision correction and refractive cataract surgery. Our commitment is to provide patients with their best possible vision, by combining superior surgical treatments, and the highest level of patient care.

We are looking for a talented, motivated individual to join our lead management team. This is an opportunity for someone with professional administrative skills, natural people skills and a keen sense of attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure new patient leads are contacted and scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Respond to online web inquiries, answer inbound phone inquiries, and communicate with prospective patients in a professional manner.
  • Process incoming patient referrals and ensure seamless communication and updates are provided to referring doctors.
  • Manage workflows using our internal patient management system and lead management CRM.

Required Skills / Aptitude

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, optometry, or ophthalmology environment strongly preferred
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience with EMR and Practice Management Systems preferred
  • Self-starter with a high degree of personal initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Conversational French an asset
  • Customer service driven – focused on providing an exceptional patient experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing roles and requirements
