Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within our dental and medical offices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency with office management systems, and experience in a healthcare environment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, supporting both administrative functions and patient interactions.

Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner at the front desk
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle appointment scheduling, inquiries, and follow-ups
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using Logictech paradigm system
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical terminology documentation and insurance information
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments and updating patient information
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and other administrative communications efficiently
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming
  • Support the dental or medical team with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and document management

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a must with at least 2 years as dental receptionist
  • Full Proficiency with Logictech Paradigm is a must if you don’t know the system please do not apply
  • Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to dental or healthcare settings is a requirement
  • Strong office experience, including familiarity with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced office environment is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or healthcare certifications are advantageous
  • This role requires a dedicated individual who thrives in a busy office setting, demonstrates professionalism, and is committed to providing exceptional patient service.
