About us

Aurora North Medical Center is a multidisciplinary clinic located in Aurora, providing primary health care, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and other specialty services. Our clinic is equipped with the most modern equipment and technologies to provide the best care possible to our patients.

With our team consisting of Family Physicians, Physiotherapists, and Pharmacists, we provide the highest quality of care for our patient’s health and recovery, with an emphasis on education and disease or injury prevention. We take pride in educating our patients about safe recovery while offering them a comprehensive care so that they can gain control over their overall health and wellness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors, making them feel welcomed and comfortable
  • Providing assistance and information about any of the services provided at the clinic
  • Answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries
  • Booking and scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, issuing invoices and receipts after visits
  • Billing to third-party insurance companies through various portals
  • Maintaining general cleanliness around the clinic, including washing/drying/mopping the floor and folding laundry
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory supply
  • Other related administrative tasks

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Part-Time
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service-focused mindset
  • Exceptional customer skills
  • Strong time management skills, being punctual and responsible is critical
  • Exceptional patient management skills with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills, able to respond to challenges in a quick and effective fashion
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word and MS Excel), e-mail interfaces, and Canva would be an asset
  • Experience in health care settings is an asset
  • Experience with Jane is an asset
  • Experience with using electronic health management records and billing insurance companies is an asset
  • Must be fluent in English. Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
