Downtown Toronto dental practice looking for an amazing addition to our outstanding team!

Candidate must have minimum 2 yrs Dental Reception as well as some Dental Assisting Experience.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and loves to work in a busy upbeat environment!

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ability to 'clinically assist' dentists to cover vacations/illness of 'permanent dental assistants'.

We invite candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have the necessary skills to apply for this rewarding position.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and handle patient communications.
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately using Tracker software.
  • Collect payments, co-pays, and process billing using dental office management systems.
  • Prepare and organize patient charts, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to confirm appointments and manage scheduling efficiently.
  • Handle correspondence and communication with insurance companies regarding claims and authorizations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
