Overview
Join our growing team! As our clinic continues to grow, we are expanding our clerical team. We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing exceptional administrative support and customer service to patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Assist with billing processes.
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Perform data entry and maintain electronic health records (EHR).
  • Handle administrative tasks such as faxing and photocopying.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar setting is preferred

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, office equipment, phone systems, and electronic medical records
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
