Job Summary

Job Summary
great opportunity for a positive working environment in a the centre of Ancaster. Looking for an enthusiastic fast learning certified dental assistant with strong communication skills . We are an office with all digital solutions.

Front desk knowledge and Treatment coordination are an asset.

General responsibilities include

- Chairside assisting

- taking X-rays

- Sterilizing instruments

- some front desk duties

- general clean up.
Experience with Dentrix dental software , as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages.

Duties

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocol
  • Provide post-treatment instructions to patients and answer their questions
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
  • Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit by providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness of the clinical area and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to medical terminology documentation and insurance processing

Skills

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in medical office administration is advantageous

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
