Full job description

Wilson Eye Care is an optometric office with 3 optometrists located in North York. Our office is currently looking for someone to join the team with excellent communications skills, time management skills, is a hard worker, is motivated, a multitasker and has a friendly/outgoing personality. We are currently looking to fill a part-time to full-time position. Please submit a resume and cover letter for our review. Highly recommended but not necessary to have Italian as a second language.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service and patient care
  • General office duties includes filing, checking health cards, checking patients in and out
  • Answering phone calls, online appointments/emails and booking appointments
  • Pre-testing patients, Visual fields testing, and taking retinal images
  • May have to help patients with choosing frames

Required Skills

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Italian and/or Spanish speaking is an asset
  • Some knowledge as receptionist or in retail

  • Comfortable with use of technology to engage patients, customers, and associates

Job Type: Full time permanent

Part-time hours: 26-30 hours per week (can range)

Salary: $14.00-$22.00 per hour

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON (preferred)

Experience:

  • Medical office: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • Spanish as a second language (preferred)
  • Italian as second language is preferred (preferred)
