Paris Medical Center is a patient-focused medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. We are seeking a professional, organized, and friendly Medical Office Assistant to join our team.

Position Summary

The Medical Office Assistant serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, coordinate patient appointments, and assist healthcare providers with office management tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
  • Register patients and maintain accurate electronic medical records within Telus EMR
  • Verify patient information and update health records as needed.
  • Process referrals, requisitions, and medical correspondence.
  • Handle billing, payments, and insurance documentation (if applicable).
  • Scan, file, and organize medical documents.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with privacy legislation.
  • Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including ordering office supplies and maintaining a clean reception area.

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A FAST PAST MEDICAL ENVIRONMENT

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH TELUS PS SUITE

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THRID PARTY BILLING

MUST BE CONFIDENT IN COMMUNICATION BOTH IN PERSON AND ON PHONE
